The meeting was brief. Payout for weekly games will be determined by Nancy, according to the number of players participating each week.
The Ringer Tournament will have two flights, which will be posted on the web site, and there will be additions of side games, just for fun.

Meadows Board Meeting Tuesday March 29th @ Meadows
The meeting was called to order.
Attending were:

President: Colleen checked with USGA and there is not a limit on the Hole in One pot. There is no change in policy at this time. The Pro Shop has requested “Cash Payout Only”.
Treasurer: We are awaiting a budget update from our treasurer, C.J., hopefully, by Orientation. A budget is yet to be determined for play days.
For the enlightenment of all members, there will be a review of holes 3, 6, 8, 9, and 12 at Orientation.
Raffle tickets will be available, 6 for $5 or $1 apiece at Orientation
All board members are asked to arrive one hour early at Orientation to help with the set up – that would be at approximately 7:30.
Kim: Handicap breakdowns will be published by April 19th.
Pictures of board members will be taken at Orientation. You know what that means: Hair, makeup and your brightest smiles..

Meadows Board Meeting
Tuesday March 1st, 2011 @ Village Inn on Ken Caryl Blvd
The meeting was called to order.

Business:
Vice President: Judy reported that various neighborhood and local newspapers are being used to advertise the MWGA 18 Hole League. Also, bulletin boards at the club and some recreation centers.
The membership info for our book needs to be submitted to Judy before April 1st for printing.
Colleen said CWGA suggested approaching leagues with waiting lists to mention our league has openings.
CWGA also suggested lowering the age restriction to attract younger golfers to the league.
Nancy submitted the Playday agenda for the season. The board approved the final draft.
Tournament: There was extensive discussion regarding rule #11 under tournament rules. The final revision will be printed in the new membership book.
Tee Times: Brooke has acquired five tee times for those members who wish to play golf following Orientation on April 19th. Tee times will begin at 10:48.
Social: The price for the Orientation Breakfast will be $15, to be paid at the time of the breakfast, 9:00 April 19th at the Meadows course.
Miscellaneous Discussion: The board discussed, at length, the payout for the Hole-in-One. Final wording for payout will appear on the website at the beginning of the season.

Meadows Transitional Meeting

The meeting was called to order.
Board members and previous board members attending were:

Miscellaneous business:
There was discussion regarding new means of getting new members, such as local papers, facebook, websites, bulletin boards, etc. Colleen, Nancy and Judy will get together to discuss new and old approaches for membership.
Advertising charges:
$50 for inside front and back covers.
$30 for full page inside ad
$25 for half page inside ad
Prices also include an ad on our website. All members are encouraged to contact potential advertisers. Your help is appreciated.
Treasurer:
Books will be audited by C.J., Dee and Colleen.
Balance carried forward is $1710.49; of that, $560 is restricted.
Handicap Chairman Kim Duffy will meet with Kate Scherrer to discuss handicap information.
On February 26th, Kim and Colleen will attend the 2011 Annual CWGA meeting at the Inverness Hotel.
Social:
Deb Hickey needs to confirm a location for Orientation and golf afterwards. There will be further discussion at the next meeting. Tom, Bob and Sue from the Pro Shop will be invited to Orientation via invitation cards from Colleen.
B Team:
$461 carried over to be used for B Team Fun Day at Meadows September 12th.
